Bavette La Boucherie - French Cuts

Bavette La Boucherie is a restaurant and butcher shop in Milwaukee’s Third Ward. Karen Bell, owner and chef, was recently nominated for a James Beard Award. We wanted to create a site that maintained a level of sophistication while still being approachable, incorporating nods to her french training and dedication to locally sourced ingredients and livestock. We mixed elements of flora and fauna to soften the typically masculine approach to butcheries, which also allowed us to add a subtle note of femininity into the brand.
